Job Ready PA is very successful and because of it. They managed to get over 6,000 businesses involved in 80 industry partnerships with 70,000+ workers who have been trained because of Job Ready PA. These trained workers are able to enjoy higher salary wages of an average of 6.62% from their first year. Because of Job Ready PA, they could meet the growing demand for LPN and RN graduates. From just 2,939 graduates of RN in 2002 it more than doubled to over 7000 in 2008 which is just six years after. LPN graduates have also increased from just 1,236 to 2,149 in 2008.

Gov. Rendell congratulated the award-winning secretary and cited that she was instrumental in the reinvention of the workforce development’s effort in the state of Pennsylvania. He also expressed that the dedication and expertise of Sandi are helping the workforce development strategy of Pennsylvania to be a national leader in the United States.
